Sr. Manager, Colleague Communications and Engagement, HR and Compliance

The Sr. Manager, HR, Colleague Communications and Engagement, HR and Compliance, will work in close partnership with the Director, HR, Colleague Communications and Engagement, HR and Compliance, to provide internal communications guidance and support - ensuring correct messaging of programs, processes, and initiatives in alignment with HR and Compliance priorities and strategies.

This includes partnering with HR and Compliance teams in strategic planning, launching and communicating of programs and strategies aligned with the business in a manner that is cohesive, effective, and when applicable - fun, for both the business and colleagues. The Sr. Manager, Colleague Communications and Engagement, HR and Compliance will be expected to counsel leaders, provide guidance to managers and colleagues while driving execution of annual processes (e.g., talent management, performance and leadership insights, benefits, management, compensation cycle, compliance initiatives).

In this role, the Sr. Manager, HR Colleague Communications and Engagement, HR and Compliance will be part of a team that ensures HR and compliance processes and programs are strategically implemented and communicated in an effective and consistent manner.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr. Manager,HR, Colleague Communications and Engagement,will work in close partnership with HRand Compliance organizationsto ensure HRand Complianceprograms are delivered and aligned with business strategiesandpriorities.
  • Support the Director,Colleague Communications and Engagement, HR and Compliancein the development and execution of internal communicationsandcolleagueengagementstrategies.
  • Strategize withcolleagueson initiatives related to organizational design, talent development, cultureand diversity, equity, and inclusion,and colleague experience.
  • Develop and edit content for internal communications utilizingPfizerWorld, HR Microsoft Teams Channel,newsletters, e-signs, leader communications, FAQs, and other creative modes of messaging to ensure colleagues are kept informed.
  • Help develop messages,announcements,events, presentations, and other communication vehicles to drive engagement around Pfizer's Purpose Blueprintand company values.
  • Develop creative solutions and support leaders in building their skillsto effectively drive performance management, talent management, and performance improvement for teams.
  • Helpdevelop initiatives that will help unleash the power of our peopleand ensure a positive and inclusive work environment and experience for all colleagues.
  • Support the change management strategy developing proactive communication strategies focused to engage all levels of the organization.


BASICQUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS in Human Resources / Communications or related field required
  • Minimumsevenyears of Communications experience; knowledge of Human Resources and/or Compliance-related competencies a plus
  • Must be acreative andstrategic thinker with a talent for developing messages, events,presentationsand other communications vehicles to drive colleague engagement and experience
  • Must be experienced in supporting and coachingleadership
  • Solid expertise in HR technical proficiencies and core HR competencies with experience in coaching and driving process improvements
  • Experience in other aspects of corporate communications including media relations, crisis management and executive positioning
  • Commitment to editorial excellence, including precision and timeliness
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and respond back in a timely manner
  • Project management, facilitation and problem-solving skills required along with strong process skills. Any type of continuous improvement experiences a plus
  • A strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information
  • Ability to challenge a manager's perspective when it is in the best interest of Pfizer
  • Ability to execute initiatives in a timely manner with high quality
  • Ability to learn and understand the business and is motivated to continue learning
  • Ability to analyze information and provide guidance and solutions
