In this role, you will plan, deliver, and lead project teams to implement organizational transformation and performance improvement solutions, leading to a high reliability organization (HRO) status for our members. You will drive member value on complex transformational consulting engagements based on high-reliability principles, data and systems analysis, management systems, process improvement methodologies, and change management tools and techniques to affect a cultural change within member organizations leading to goal achievements and high satisfaction.

  • Plan, deliver, and lead the execution of HRO transformation engagements through four stages - assess, design, deploy, and sustain; assuring project resources, deliverables, and ROI align with scope of work.
  • Perform and facilitate activities required to complete an assessment and analyses to achieve strategic insight to solve complex business problems, supporting the development of an individualized project plan.
  • Re-design and implement HRO infrastructure, management systems, and development activities for member leaders, middle management, and workforce serving as project executive, facilitator, trainer, and/or coach.
  • Project manage the overall projectplan along with task-level plans plus all required documentation to meet Vizient and member requirements and expectations; lead executive level discussions.
  • Facilitate participation with cross-functional teams and third-party partners, as required to achieve project scope of work.
  • Initiate and maintain C-suite member relationships that can be leveraged for references and to upsell or cross-sell additional services.
  • Serve as an internal HRO expert and contribute to program growth by continually improving and developing new intellectual property (IP), presenting at conferences, publishing, developing, and implementing new products and services, etc.

  • Relevant degree preferred. RN degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years' experience working in a project and program management capacity required, preferably in a health care or consulting services environment.
  • Experience working with high-reliability organizational transformation and cultural change required.
  • Experience with risk management/ compliance programs preferred.
  • Experience with employee development programs preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple and varying sizes of enterprise-level projects including work plans, deliverables, budgets and schedules, and accounts receivable.
  • Demonstrated success advancing teams toward a common goal using multiple quality, safety, and reliability improvement methodologies.
  • Lean training and/or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Professional presence and executive communications with successful record in developing client relationships at all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.



Estimated Hiring Range:
$131,300.00 - $195,400.00
