IT Medical Business Partner

Job Description

· Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects, and serve as strategic IT liaison between business and technical aspects of projects supporting the Medical Operations function within the Medical Organization.

· Drive the strategic roadmap generation, project prioritization, portfolio oversight, financial management, project execution, and production operations.

· Understand business function’s strategy and effectively translate strategy into opportunities and requirements for operational, strategic, and impactful technology solutions.

· Anticipate business needs to shape demand for IT services.

· Develop functional roadmaps that are aligned with function’s strategy and priorities.

· Engage, develop, and manage relationships with functional partners and subject matter experts.

· Integrate roadmaps developed by other enabling IT functions with business partners to align IT capabilities with functional demand for IT services.

· Advocate for partners with IT colleagues, and drive awareness and adoption of IT initiatives and changes driven by all IT organizations including IT functional portfolios and foundational organizations.

· Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), IT Management, or a directly related field and 6 years of progressive work experience in IT implementing or supporting biopharma technology capabilities.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), IT Management, or a directly related field and 4 yearsof work experience in IT implementing or supporting biopharma technology capabilities.

Experience must include:

4 years of experience with:
  • Business Analyst experience including requirements elicitation, requirements mapping for development purposes, and user acceptance testing and execution.


3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Solution design experience using Salesforce, Veeva CRM, and Veeva Vault, as well as business intelligence and data warehouse technologies.

Developing business cases and strategic roadmaps including at least two of the following: (1) partnering to identify business capabilities and processes link to strategies that require technology solutions; (2) mapping solutions into a
  • roadmap; (3) establishing and leveraging governance to prioritize roadmap delivery; or (4) documenting business justifications and Return on Investment (ROI) for individual projects and obtaining governance approval for execution.
  • Project and portfolio management and leadership skills including at least one of the following: (1) ensuring planning, tracking, execution, and measurement against success metrics for portfolio of business projects and individual projects using Office 365 project management tools or similar enterprise project management software; (2) ensuring effective budget estimation and management within established benchmarks to successfully deliver projects on budget; or (3) ensuring issues and risks are identified, mitigation plans are established, and resolution is achieved.


2 years of experience with:

· Vendor Management experience including ensuring vendor contracts meet requirements of IT and business functions and managing vendor relationship to ensure contract delivery milestones.
