Warehouse Technician I
Site Name: Guayama JV Posted Date: Oct 14 2021 As a Warehouse Technician I you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, re-palletize and storing all raw materials, packaging components, MRO and finished products. You will verify materials/finished products, perform mathematical calculations and dispense all raw materials, packaging components and bulk tablets listed in the Process Orders using the SAP system. Load all raw materials, packaging components and finished products and transfer them between PCH and Logistic Center‘s warehouse. Prepare finished products for shipping, either by air or ocean. Use electrical equipment to move materials to the required specific locations. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Know and follow safety standards and procedures. Apply safety policies and cGMP knowledge in daily operations involving self and other team members (i.e., Personal Protective Equipment (PPE} utilization, housekeeping, gowning, and good documentation practices). Maintain an efficient organization and segregate materials to avoid product contamination. Operate all types of material handling equipment as assigned. Unload or load trucks as required. Check material being received, issued to production for correct count and identification. Prepare materials according to destination by following applicable procedures. Transfer materials to different areas as required. Store all materials in a safe manner and within the designated area. Maintain a safe work area, report unsafe conditions and accidents immediately to a Supervisor. Inventory stocks as required. Perform data entry into applicable systems. Perform other duties as assigned. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals High School Diploma. and 5 years experience in warehouse, receiving or shipping area within the pharmaceutical industry. Associate degree and 3 years experience in warehouse, receiving or shipping area within the pharmaceutical industry. Why GSK?
