Financial Analyst

Gallup is looking for a financial analyst to join our finance and accounting group in Omaha, Nebraska. Gallup financial analysts see more than just numbers when they look at data. They create compelling stories based on patterns and trends and craft them into final products through reporting tools and programs.

In this role, you will immerse yourself in data to learn how business units work, anticipate next steps and maximize profits. You'll be responsible for gathering, analyzing and interpreting data to advise our leaders on solutions that will improve our business. Through close collaboration with key stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference as you respond to and anticipate internal partners' needs. You'll need a keen eye for identifying opportunities and a smart business strategy to convey the stories you see in the data.

What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, actuarial science, statistics, business, computer science, MIS, engineering, math or related field
  • Work experience, undergraduate project or internship experience in financial or predictive analytics
  • Work experience or credit hours in statistics required
  • Proficiency in application of advanced software; OBIEE preferred
  • Expertise and proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Eligibility to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
