Your Role

This Senior Internal Auditor will conduct IT system audits to evaluate risks and vulnerabilities including efficiency, effectiveness, security confidentiality, processing and data integrity, availability, reliability, and compliance. This includes IT General Controls, other IT audits/controls in more depth, automated controls, report validations, and other topics as needed. In addition, will evaluate the effectiveness of applied controls for systems, networks, and applications in accordance with laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards using established tools and techniques.

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • Conduct IT system audits to evaluate risks and vulnerabilities including efficiency, effectiveness, security confidentiality, processing and data integrity, availability, reliability, and compliance . Assess system and network vulnerabilities, and make recommendations that make sense for the organization
  • Responsible for performing and leading transactional quality review audits with limited or no supervision
  • Expert knowledge of audit principles and methodology; considered a subject matter expert in multiple functional areas
  • Lead corrective/ preventive action planning related to transactional audits
  • Research issues and shares the findings of that work with varying groups effectively (executives, managers, line staff, etc.)- messaging is appropriate to audience
  • Develop and maintains productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings
  • Work to achieve operational targets with direct impact on BSC results and may be responsible for entire projects or processes within Internal Audit
  • Work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own department, with the ability to educate others on complex disciplines, as well as m ay have responsibility for communicating with parties' external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)
  • Works to influence parties within and outside of Internal Audit at an operational level regarding policies, practices and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned




Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Typically, requires a college degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of prior relevant experience
  • Basic competence and knowledge with support from others of Financial Accounting and Finance Concepts, Managerial Accounting, Regulatory, Legal and Economics, Quality Framework, Ethics and Fraud, Information Technology, Governance, Risk and Controls, Organizational Theory and Behavior
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
