Summary of Job Duties:
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is a growing educational institution seeking dynamic, engaging individuals for full- time instructor positions. Successful candidates will be well organized, punctual, reliable, team oriented, and will motivate students. They will possess the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of individuals, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability and willingness to use advanced technology. They will have a passion for teaching, and a genuine desire to serve students and the workforce.

Serve on department and university committees.

Participate in professional development.

Willingness to teach at Hope and or Texarkana campuses.

It is also important for this individual to have a willingness to work with local industries and instructors in other technical areas to further the technical offerings at UAHT.

Evening duties may be required.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess an Arkansas State Industrial Electrical license or have five years of experience in industrial electricity and pass state licensure within one year. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in programmable logic controllers and have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code. An Associate's degree in industrial electricity, general technology, or comparable formal education (i.e. military training) is required.

Salary Information:
$34,800.00 Base
