Security Administrative Specialist (Senior Level)

Location: Chantilly, VA

Required Clearance: Top Secret SCI with Poly

The Security Administrative Specialist provides support primarily to the Office of Security and Counterintelligence (OS&CI) senior managers in areas of division and operational administrative security functions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties that of an Intermediate level Security Administrative Specialist
  • Maintain website initiatives to include Directorate unique applications
  • Administer and troubleshoot security databases, to include specialized databases, sets up new user accounts and accesses; run reports; perform databases clean up tasks
  • Ensure security compliance with the IC regulations and procedures of the tasks performed or received by the contractor
  • Track, ensure completion, and prioritize polygraph assignments
  • Track and ensure completion of adverse and foreign travel/contract reports to Government management
  • Perform ad hoc security briefings


  • Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years security relevant work experience

  • HS/GED Equiv. and 7 years of security relevant experience required with strong preference for direct experience within the IC.
  • Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance

Specialized Knowledge/Skills Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience performing adjudicative support
  • Demonstrated experience in eliciting information, articulating information, and document information in a well-organized manner
  • Advanced ability to lead a team of security professionals encompassing multiple disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 regulations, to include requirements pertaining to Co-Use agreements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security specific systems, databases, websites, and software
  • Experience with personnel security policies and practices
  • Experience in access control, security personnel and physical security functional areas, to include but not limited to access control software and systems, personnel security policies and procedures, and facility security requirements
  • Experience working in an environment with compartmented programs
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
