This is a Quality Engineering opportunity on an exciting Program, with product ranging from development and production through Field Refurbishments. Interested candidates should exhibit initiative and self-motivation, and be able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Understand Program requirements and apply them to purchased materials and manufactured items. Perform quality audits of hardware, feedback on defects, and track progress. Perform guidance, coaching, training, qualification and certification for operators. Support timely completion of audit, disposition of audit findings, and support through the root cause analysis of discrepant materials as required. Must continually strive to improve associated processes and procedures. Maintain assigned projects and tasks to ensure timely completion of required needs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Must exhibit initiative and be able to leadership necessary to obtain results through collaboration with other functions
  • Root Cause and Corrective Action Methodology
  • Data Collection and Analysis
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in ISO 9001 / AS9100 / IATF16949
  • Experience in AS9145 / APQP
  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and experience
