Responsibilities

OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THIS POSITION

Digital/Online Design Focus:
  • Responsible for a variety of digital design projects, including graphics for social campaigns, banner assets, email and direct response marketing.
  • Individual will storyboard banners and come up with ideas and action on bringing them to life.
  • Concept, design and execute all website assets including special digital initiatives. Individual will build animated GIFs and/or HTML 5 animations.
  • Design and execute all email campaigns.
  • Design and distribute all display ads.
  • Ensures graphic solutions are optimized for integration, performance, usability and sustainability.

  • Print Design Focus:
  • Primary focus will be print production and email with an established workflow and update assets based on clearly defined brand standards.
  • Build print and digital assets including print materials, direct mail, email, display ads and presentation projects.
  • Help adapt and implement creative campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Provide quality design, type treatments and editing/proofing of assets such as photography, digital presentations, interactive and print graphics.
  • Work closely with production team graphic and print vendors to ensure that print jobs, etc. are fulfilled to specifications, on time and on budget.
  • Understand pre-press and preparing mechanical files as well as preparing digital files according to media specs.


  • QUANTITATIVE SCOPE

    Strict adherence to project and campaign budgets including third-party materials (e.g. stock footage, images and art)

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related equivalent on the job experience
    • 5-7 years experience in graphic design

    For digital/online focus:
    • 3-5 years' experience designing for web and fluency with Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate or equivalent HTML 5 animation, and Dreamweaver.
    • 1+ years designing for mobile
    • Software skills include proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and other design related programs.
    • Has a strong portfolio that exemplifies a broad range of design knowledge
    • Team player who can take art direction from creative supervisors and managers on various teams.
    • Strong attention to detail required.
    • Agency experience a preferred
    • Experience with Animate or HTML5 a plus.
    • Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro a plus.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and be flexible to adapt to shorter deadlines when called for.
