Job Description

The Sr. Engineer Boomi Administrator will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Boomi IPaaS application and integration services provided to a diverse application user base. This role will include defining the standards and requirements for integration documentation, procedures for integration development, testing, and production management. Additionally, this role will assist application integration developers where needed with complex integration and transformation projects.

The person in this role will work closely with other Enterprise teams, and will actively participate in projects, system implementations and improvement initiatives. In some cases this will include leading collaborative discussion on technical design, ensuring the quality and timeliness of project and product deliverables. Managing day to day requests for related production support issues and supporting ongoing system enhancements is also expected.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Managing, Monitoring, Sustaining, Troubleshooting and supporting existing SOA Architecture and Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform
  • Responsible for establishing best practices in services development, integration of applications and govern detailed designs generated by the vendors
  • Hands-on deployment, maintenance, and administration of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premise using Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform (Cloud Integration, Application Integration, and Enterprise web services APIs)
  • Design Service Oriented and discoverable Web services and APIs
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to define and determine integration requirements
  • Contribute to evolving EAI and SOA vision by implementing methodologies, and procedures conforming to standard patterns and practices
  • Provide development team with EAI technical subject matter expertise and work with the team (Architects, other Tech Leads and Systems Analysts) to ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority and business objectives
  • Mentor and Motivate team members to provide outstanding support and continuously improve the processes.
  • Monitors and reports on progress in completing projects and accomplishing goals.
  • Proactively addresses potential and/or current integration challenges to meet or exceed established timelines and delivers service within budget constraints and seeks ways to reduce applications related costs
  • Drive organization to improve data integrity for company-wide analytics
  • Interface with both internal/external technical experts to drive system solutions

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in Dell Boomi or comparable middleware technology.
  • Experience with other SaaS-based business applications a plus: Salesforce, Workday, Workbook, ....
  • Ability to set business requirements against the capability of the Dell Boomi platform
  • Experience mapping, creating, transforming XML, CSV, flat file, data schemas for different systems.
  • Record of strong advancement and achievement
