WGL - Manager Field Asset Systems

Job Description

Manages activities related to field asset systems, customer field measurement, and support for meter services. Accountable for work scheduling, execution, and recordation in accordance with state and local statuary requirements, as well as compliance regulations.

You Will

  • Manages meter shop and customer field measurement activities, including ISP program, inventory management, maintenance of large meters and volume correctors, meter proving, repair, and adherence to measurement standards and controls.
  • Serves as the Operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Device management.
  • Manages support of Field Service activities, including data entry, coordination of customer appointments, and resolution of Business Process Exceptions (BPEMs) in SAP.
  • Manages the processes and systems related to field assets, including equipment inventory, field data collection, work management documentation, and device maintenance.
  • Responsible for oversight and adherence to Meter related control policies, SOX, and company Key Control Areas (KCAs).
  • Analyzes procedures, technology and processes utilized within the area and recommends enhancements.
  • Manages all safety, training, operations, compliance, personnel, documentation, and budget management related to field asset systems.
  • Represents the Company's interests before external audiences, including contractual negotiations and interactions with local regulatory bodies (PSC and SCC).

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of natural gas industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to use company software applications to research and analyze information.
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of DOT CFR 49 Part 192.
