Senior Manager, Application Management Services-Corporate

Job Description

Are you seeking an new information technology (IT) opportunity where you will play a lead role in driving forward strategy and service management? WGL is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Management Services. The role will be the primary interface for the AMS team and our delivery partners, ensuring consistent service is achieved across the enterprise. Working in partnership with Architecture, Delivery and Security will ensure that our application roadmap is aligned to the company strategy and generates user value.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead a high performing vendor delivered service responsible for deploying and sustaining technologies and systems to the support Corporate teams across Altagas.

  • Work with senior business leaders and Digital Business Partner to facilitate the business strategy with technology by developing a deep understanding of strategy, process and business needs, and working with architecture teams, building and maintaining technology roadmaps to align to this strategy

  • Oversee the end-to-end support and sustainment activities for the Corporate platforms.

  • Deliver innovative ideas for technology improvements through the "Art of the Possible"

  • Ensure vendors are driving operational activities, manage operational budgets, and identify process improvement and innovation opportunities supporting corporate business processes

  • Oversee Corporate demand management process and prioritization

  • Ensure all IT SOX and general compliance and controls are adhered to for all key financial systems

  • Working with the Cyber team, ensure technology assets are secured with appropriate measures

  • Ensure proper sustainment and integrity of all technology assets through regular system upgrades and appropriate testing and quality assurance practices

Must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum ten (10) years practical experience in information technology

  • Minimum five (5) years senior lead role either directly or indirectly leading a team of professionals

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in planning and executing large complex projects/initiatives

  • Minimum five (5) years experience working with enterprise ERPs

  • Experience and history of developing a deep understanding of Business Processes to ensure technology solutions address fundamental business needs
