Duties: Build, lead and provide coaching/mentorship to a team of analysts and data scientists to design and execute statistical and marketing analysis and modeling projects. Work closely with the U.S. Retail and Business Banking Chief Data & Analytics Officer to make business decisions, build long-term roadmap and implement strategic initiatives. Administer daily analytical deliverables and complex business and statistical analysis to support effective marketing program, campaign operation and management decision-making. Lead research and development efforts to build state-of-the-art analytics. Lead design, development, and implementation of innovative and advanced analytical solutions, including predictive modeling, offer optimization and strategic recommendation. Serve as a subject matter expert by providing advice to senior management, clients and business partners on the effective use of analytical methodologies related to campaign measurement and advanced modeling techniques for personalized targeting. Guide the team to produce actionable insights that demonstrate logical thinking and methodical problem solving abilities. Drive innovation, champion business critical change and foster a culture of analytically driven decision making. Assist in analytical infrastructure development from system design, data definition, data processing logic modeling, real-time decision making, external vendor collaboration, training and knowledge retention. Coordinate cross-functional efforts and collaborate with heads of business, products, marketing, distribution, technology and finance teams to identify solutions to improve portfolio spread and profitability while driving advanced analytical and process innovations. Foster strong internal and external networks and work with and across multiple teams to achieve business objectives. Responsible for compliance management practices. Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of innovative analytical solutions.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or Physics and nine (9) years of experience performing analytical and statistical analyses of business and marketing strategies in financial services, including use of quantitative methodologies of marketing analytics, decision science, data mining and computational advertising. Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): nine (9) years of experience collecting data and performing statistical analysis, such as predictive analytics for building strategies and statistical models to reduce losses, increase sales, improve profitability and generate improved customer experience in risk, fraud, marketing analytics in banking, financial and credit services, utilizing advanced statistical techniques such as Decision Tree, Regression, Distribution Analysis, Segmentation, Distribution Analysis, and Time-Series Analysis and software including SAS, SQL, Teradata and Unix. Seven (7) years of experience in the following: utilizing advanced statistical analysis, such as predictive analytics, behavioral research and real time decision making for large amounts of data for multi-billion dollar portfolio in financial services; building, validating and implementing real time business strategies based on statistical models/machine learning algorithms, such as logistic, multiple linear regression, Gradient Boosting, Random Forest, decision tree algorithms, Segmentation & Classification, forecasting techniques such as ARIMA [Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average], Exponential Smoothing and Neural Network modeling; identifying consumer behavior and relationships between key business drivers and impact on risk/reward trade-offs; and leveraging SQL or SAS, including relevant packages and statistical methodologies, to collect data and perform statistical analysis, such as predictive analytics, for building strategies to reduce losses, increase sales, improve profitability and generate improved customer experience in risk, fraud, marketing analytics in banking, financial and credit services. Four (4) years of experience in the following: leading a team of data analysts; and building and presenting data driven insights through business intelligence tools. Two (2) years of experience in the following: leveraging open-source tools such as R, Hive, and Python to collect data and perform statistical analysis, such as predictive analytics for building strategies to reduce losses, increase sales, improve profitability and generate improved customer experience in risk, fraud, marketing analytics in banking, financial and credit services.
