About This Role

The SMA Global Senior Product Manager/Associate Directorwill be a key member of the Global Commercial team focused on making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), a rare neuromuscular disease. This isthe first breakthrough therapy to treat all patients with SMA, a rapidly evolving therapeutic area. This is your opportunity to translate market insights into meaningful global strategies and tactics, and partner with local market leaders and cross functional partnersthat help our mission of making this therapy available to appropriate patients worldwide. This role will report to the Director, Global Marketing for SMA.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead execution of key marketing tactics (disease state and branded) in support of global strategic projects
  • Rollout global activations and insights to local teams, and meet the needs of our diverse set of customers and stakeholders
  • Lead development of a key, global, multi-channel campaign, and ensure successful execution across regions
  • Manage external agency partners to deliver programs on time and on budget
  • Collaborate with market insights team to ensure regional and local insights are leveraged in the creation and optimization of brand activations
  • Form partnerships with regional and country marketing teams to enable pull-through

  • Commercial/marketing professional experience; preferably 5+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical industry
  • Experience executing HCP (healthcare professional) and/or patient marketing tactics at global and/or country level.
  • Proven record in driving brand success in a highly competitive environment at a global and/or country level
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to drive clarity and synthesize information for senior management
  • Strong collaborator, with ability to effectively influence and communicate with internal stakeholders, at all levels of the organization, across all functions, as well as external business partners

Preferred Skills
  • HCP marketing experience
  • Rare disease experience
  • MBA / MSc in business related field

In this field-based, specialty sales representative position you will be called upon to sell our products with key stakeholders in the Alzheimer’s Disease community: including Neurologists and allied health professionals.
