Job Description
This position works closely with and reports directly to the Program Manager in support of the Combat System Services (CSS) contract for the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) in Wallops Island VA. Monitors, saves and delivers contract technical and financial reports. Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that documents are within negotiated parameters that meet government and contractual guidelines. Use Microsoft Office products to generate reports and contract documents as required.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:
  • Manage contract deliverables on the Task Order
  • Assist Program Manager in producing, reviewing and delivering required all reports, memos and documents
  • Conduct new BAE Systems employee check-in processing to include supporting the Navy's Common Access Card (CAC) re-validations
  • Manage employee engagement activities
  • Perform employee Timecard audits
  • Maintain and track contract compliance requirements ensuring up-to-date information is accurate


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum education and years of relevant/related work experience: HS Diploma and at least 4 years' experience in the implementation of projects of varying size and complexity. Demonstrated experience related to managing, organizing and controlling project activities to include: generating, updating, monitoring, and distributing documents (including Project pre-planning, Execution, Scope and Project Plan), preparing financial, budget, statistical reports, supporting business performance objectives and coordinating meetings. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and be willing/able to work in a very fast paced environment.

Security clearance requirement: This position requires the successful candidate to be able to obtain a Secret level clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. Selected candidate will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until an interim Secret clearance is granted.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Highly desired, but not required:
Active DoD Secret security clearance
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a business related discipline
