This posting represents multiple openings within our planning team based in our NA HQ Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Our planning team leads the product logicsavings agenda throughportfolioand project management, ideation, and project execution. The Associate Managers support developingsound business cases to support category growth,savings deliveryand service improvement following the USLP (Unilever Sustainable Living Program) principles and ensuring the optimal E2E (end to end) network design. They perform long term capacity planning, evaluate network constraints, identify improvement opportunities, review capex and technology needs, lead savings identification and implementation, complexity reduction initiatives, and strategic project scoping and execution—all towards driving Gross Marginandprofitimprovement.

Each Associate Manager partners with a factory (or factories) and a category (or categories) on these initiatives. They willdetermine the bestportfolio of products to run at the respective site(s) whiledevelopingsound business cases to support category growth,savings delivery and ensuring the optimal E2E network design. In addition, they willmanagesourcing change projects,evaluate network constraints(i.e. - materials), identify improvement opportunities, review capex and technology needs,identifycomplexity reduction initiatives, and strategic project scoping and execution—all towardsan optimal network designand grossmargin.

Planning works closely withBrand, Supply/Demand Planning, Factories, Finance, Procurement and R&D to deliver the category businesstargets.They also lead the charge onsupply chainaspects of category strategieswith the senior stakeholders in category leadership forums (CCBT)and across the supply chain.

Who You Are and What You'll Do
  • Lead the long term(+1yr to +3yrs)capacity planning for factoriesthrough supply chain modeling
  • Drive thestrategy forwardby leadingproject delivery,coordination of ideation sessions,strong stakeholder management, and portfolio management.
  • Monitor the progress ontheachievement of the category KPIs in Gross Margin, service, working capital, supply chain material costs, etc.
  • Project management and implementation ofsourcing changes for assigned factoriesand categories
  • Brainstorm,develop, and leadproject ideas, includingbusiness case analysis,defining capex,and cost savings for project executionthrough your partner teams (engineering, finance, etc.)
  • Perform capacitymodeling forancillarysupply chain network (materials,logistics,etc.) using optimization and analytical techniques
  • Support complexity reductionand savingsin product portfolio and overall network

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in supply chain, logistics, engineering or other related field
  • 4+ years of relevant supply chain experience, preferably in operational planning, supply chain planning, logistics, manufacturing or SC Customer Service
  • A highly developed set of skills in quantification and analysis
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to deliver complex information to a variety of audiences with impact
  • Creative mindset with the ability to look at a problem with a number of different perspectives and ideas for a solution
  • Knowledge of SAP planning (APO and O2C) systems
  • Knowledge of Kinaxis Rapid Response tool a plus
  • APICS involvement/certification a plus
