The HR Generalist provides support to the HRBPs for assigned to functions and can also be deployed to support critical HR needs on key business priorities.

Key accountabilities of the HR Generalist will fall in the areas of reporting and analytics, talent management and performance management, employee relations, total rewards, and organizational data management. In addition, the HR Generalist will play a role in the execution of key strategic projects within assigned to areas.

The HR Generalist will work collaboratively with their respective clients, HR COE partners, and cross functional leadership to deliver value in service of the HR and Enterprise agenda.

Summary of major duties/responsibilities:

Talent Management - In coordination with the Director of Talent and HRBP, supports in the execution and quality outcomes of all talent management related processes (development plan updates, talent action follow-up, succession plan refreshes, retention evaluations, calibration support). In addition, serves as the HR Talent Council representative for respective clients. Consults and provides feedback to drive to the right outcomes in service of the functional talent agendas and Hershey's talent philosophy.

Reporting & Analytics - Collects, compiles and explores HR metrics and data from a variety of sources. Analyzes and explains data tied to to line-level strategy and the external marketplace. Builds engagement and makes recommendations using data visualization techniques for key strategic and operational decisions.

Leader Coaching & Influencing - Provides coaching to managers and leaders. In addition, provides support and guidance in preparing related documentation including reviewing performance improvement plans.

HRIS Org Management - Processes all HRBP recruiting related actions, internal moves and position updates in SuccessFactors HRIS.

Total Rewards - Serves as the first point of contact for all manager and below role evaluations (new or changed) as well as employee inquiries on compensation and mobility matters.

Strategic Project Support / Other Duties as Assigned - Develops and executes deliverables against HR and Enterprise strategic agenda.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced skills in quantitative and qualitative analytics and data manipulation
Advanced skills in data visualization techniques
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with and influence the decision making of managers and senior business leaders
Demonstrated ability in project management and prioritizing multiple activities
Ability to be agile and flexible, as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Global and Commercial mindset - Understands and adapts to business differences across regions
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong critical thinking skills with a methodological approach to problem solving. Understands the underlying issues and components of a problem or opportunity and perceives complex cause-and-effect patterns.
Works cooperatively as a member of a team, formal or informal, and is committed to the overall team objectives rather than own interests
Strong desire for personal and professional development

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field

3-5 years of progressive HR experience with strong generalist focus in some/all of the below:
Analyzing data from a variety of sources to gather insights and identify opportunities for improvement
Building engagement and making recommendations using data visualization techniques for key strategic and operational decisions
Developing project plan and executing deliverables against strategic agenda
Coaching and influencing senior leaders to drive to right outcomes
Supporting core HR processes specifically performance management and talent management
Handling sensitive Employee Relations matters

OR candidates with graduate degree+ internship experience will be considered in lieu of years' experience
