Job Description
Start date: Tuesday, January 18, 2022, (January 17 is MLK Holiday) and Monday, June 13, 2022

Locations: CT - Hartford, PA - Blue Bell, GA - Atlanta, NE - Omaha, CA - Concord

This program has positions available at multiple work office locations across the country. What this business area supports:
• Positions are available across a variety of business units including Commercial and Government businesses
What you will do:
• Price new and existing business with the goal of selling and retaining profitable customers
• Act as a strategic partner to support overall management of your book of business
• Work with internal partners in sales and account management to negotiate pricing, create benefit plan designs and cross sell additional products/programs in support of our customers
• Collaborate with actuarial to refine pricing based on changes in future medical costs, trends, and customer specific data
• Participate in department solution-focused business projects

• Have a willingness to relocate to one of our Underwriting offices located in Hartford, CT, Blue Bell, PA, Atlanta, GA, Omaha, NE, or Concord, CA

Preferred Qualifications
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrate inclusive leadership through educational, professional, organized sports, clubs, or life experiences
• Have experience with analytical and technical programs such as Microsoft Excel and/or other data analysis/coding software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Internship or work experience in related fields such as business or healthcare
• Possess strong analytical and problem resolution skills
• Encourage teamwork and a positive environment to improve team effectiveness
• Be resourceful and can quickly and successfully adapt to change

Education
• Currently be pursuing a bachelor's degree
• Preferred majors in the following related degrees, Risk Management & Insurance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics
• Have a college graduation date between May 2021 and August 2022
