Associate III, Global QC Raw Materials

About This Role

The primary responsibility of the Associate III in the Global QC Raw Materials team is to process Raw Material (RM) change controls. The role reports directly to the Senior Manager supporting all Biogen sites. The Associate III role includes ownership and management of RM change controls (GCCs), procedure and item specification updates, and supporting process improvement initiatives. The role will work globally with the business and plays a key role with the strategy for raw material item types and related business and system processes.

What You’ll Do
  • Process Raw Material Change Controls
  • Update Raw Material attributes in PLM
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RM, NIR and VCN change controls
  • Procedure and item specification updates in myCIMS
  • Support strategic process improvement initiatives
  • Support RM Change Control reporting to our CMO, Partners

Who You Are

The Associate III in the Global QC Raw Materials team needs to understand the change control process, contribute to key functional, tactical, strategic, and operational aspects of the team, and ensure adherence to GMP requirements. This candidate will have to be able to prioritize based on business needs, make effective decisions, and work globally with stakeholders.


Required Skills
  • B.S. Degree and 5 years relevant experience or A.S. Degree and 7 years relevant experience
  • Work effectively across functions and globally
  • Fundamental understanding of internal quality systems and requirements
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Solid decision making and troubleshooting skills
