Senior Manager, Fixed Asset & Project Accounting and Reporting

Reporting to the Director, Record to Report Americas Operations, the Manager will be responsible for Global Fixed Assets and Global Advertising/Marketing Project Accounting operations and staff, providing support to assigned client groups around the world as well as responsible for US operations Lease Accounting.

The successful applicant must possess excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written) and can work with multifunctional teams. As well he/she must possess a high attention to quality and be able to work collaboratively with key internal and external customers. The applicant will need to demonstrate flexibility, be open-minded and adaptable to changing business needs and requests. The candidate must have ability to manage multiple tasks, be well organized, and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding deadlines. Strong project management and leadership skills are very desirable. The successful candidate must be a self starter, highly motivated, and work with minimal supervision.


  • Managing the activities of the GPO team supporting the end to end process of capital project & fixed asset creation, ensuring that these processes and systems are functioning correctly, and accurately depict the values of these assets when reported.
  • Managing on-going activities linked associated with Lease Accounting ASC 842, including disclosure reporting and close cooperation with GRE (Global Real Estate) and TAN (Technical Accounting) to ensure accurate value of ROU asset and Liability
  • Liaison with Fixed Asset and Leasing Business Process Champion ensuring that all processes confirm to Internal Control Standards.
  • Matrix management of our business partners in their day to day functions and ensure they are properly trained and informed of all changes within the business and the processes for Global Fixed Assets (Capital Project, fixed asset creation, depreciation and retirement) and Project Accounting teams.
  • Support key projects across the Fixed Asset, Project Accounting and Leasing arena when required, in conjunction with GPO, including testing and implementation of ongoing process improvements
  • Communication of known issues to business partners and will work with the business, Accenture and the IM teams to identify & implement the optimal solution.
  • Identification, testing and implementation of ongoing process improvements.
  • Leading and supporting other key projects across the Project Accounting arena when required.
  • Ensure performance and compliance based on contract for delivery services to the SLA (Service Level Agreement) SOW (Statement of work) SOP (Standard Accounting Policies) and local market statutory needs

This position has one direct report. This position has also a high level of interaction with Accenture Service Delivery Team.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA preferred; MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years diversified experience in accounting or finance and systems
  • Minimum of 2 years managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Public accounting preferably with a big four firm or Internal Audit with large Corporation a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Asset accounting, Project accounting and Lease accounting
  • Knowledge of SAP and / or RPM (Resource and Portfolio Management)
  • Knowledge of Fixed Asset accounting, Project accounting and / or Lease accounting
  • Understanding of controls with knowledge of SOX
  • Demonstrated Financial and Analytical skills
