Job Description

Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.

We are looking for an Associate Director -Digital platform to lead, develop and implement the roadmap of the HomeAgain Pet Recovery platform for Companion Animal and Equine Business in US. This individual will develop new product concepts and designs, or enhancements to existing platform design, that reflect market and target customers requirements. This role is a member of a cross-functional leadership team that translates customer needs and technology directions into platform definitions and launch the product and/or services in market using agile ways of working. Therefore, participation and engagement with cross functional teams in all phases of the platform lifecycle, including analysis, design, user acceptance testing, and change management is critical for this role.

Three must-have skills for this role are- 1) Experience in new product Launches in a matrix organization, 2) Leveraging new digital technologies and platforms to improve customer experience, and 3) Strong financial acumen to translate the growth opportunities to P&L impacts. Influence without authority, executive present, ability to communicate the vision and collaboration across organization, dealing with ambiguity to stay focused and drive results are critical to be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Define the overall platform roadmap aligning to regional and corporate strategy as well as future business needs and technology
  • Develop requirements documents, functional specifications, and mockups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts.
  • Detail & guard the overall digital platform architecture and necessary interfaces maintain process and data flow integrity
  • Develop a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors and conduct research to validate or refute the hypothesis
  • Own the change management process and support documentation
  • Assess and align business and system requirements for successful product launch
  • Manage development teams across solutions to provide holistic and cohesive solution to customers across different brands in portfolio
  • Participate in the creation of documentation or user guides for new features.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd parties' offerings for new or enhancing current product/service and 3rdparty SaaS solutions to improve the technologies enabling those new offerings
  • Test cutting-edge digital solutions that can transform the categories and provide differential advantage in market.
  • Final sign off of user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and value of new solutions or tech upgrade
  • Organize procedures and execution of deployment and training of the implemented systems
  • Cooperate actively with other teams to ensure full integration of digital platforms across the customer journey
  • Alignment with Global teams to ensure the US launches and roll out versions of the platform in other home markets is in sync.
  • Implement Privacy Smart concept while launching new platforms and subscriptions
  • Develop business model and do sensitivity financial analysis for current and new platform so that the proposed changes are margin accretive and/or cost neutral

Education:
  • Required :
    • BA/BS in technology.
    • Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Science (MS)
  • Preferred :
    • Certification in Agile Ways of working
    • Certification with Salesforce, Ecommerce platform, Cloud based tech and/or SAP

Experience:
  • 8- 10 years of relevant technology experience launching new platform in a commercial organization using Salesforce, Magento, Zuora , Azure, SAP and others
  • Experience with analyzing, conceptualizing, designing, building and deploying similar digital solutions (covering e-commerce, subscription management, license management and analytics)
  • Experience with defining and guarding the overall digital architecture and integrations
  • Experience with full lifecycle application testing
  • Experience working in development teams using agile development methods and supporting tools such as Scrum and Kanban
