The Entegral IT Manager- Agility & Empowerment - is an expert Agilist, responsible for leading a dynamic and talented group of Scrum Masters in order to optimize their professional experience and performance as Entegral agile leaders. In this role, you will provide expert level guidance to enable individual goals and objectives, as well as holding individuals accountable to the Scrum Master competencies. You will offer support to all phases of a Scrum Master's career development. The Manager IT - Agility & Empowerment is also responsible for strategic, departmental initiatives based on feedback and in the spirit of continuous improvement. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for community outreach, leading by example and demonstrating leadership that places Entegral as a technology employer of choice.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Lead and develop a team comprised of professional Scrum Masters
  • Create and sustain a hiring and staffing plan to support the needs of Entegral's strategic goals and initiatives
  • Work with team members to ensure their development as Entegral employees is supported
  • Develop, maintain, and coach to Scrum Master Job Competencies as well as behavioral demonstrations of those competencies
  • Balance and manage operational and business concerns to ensure consistent delivery of quality products and services
  • Support a positive employee experience
  • Contribute to strategies for improving value delivery across various Entegral value streams
  • Employ an engaging and professional leadership approach built on collaboration, transformational leadership principles, and diversity and inclusivity
  • Motivate and guide employees to accomplish team and individual goals
  • Celebrates successes and wins of individuals and the scrum master team
  • Tactical and strategic planning and execution as well as escalation awareness
  • Builds healthy relationships with leaders inside and outside of Agility and Empowerment
  • Coaches understanding of the Entegral Framework, timelines, and upcoming events
  • Understanding of customer quality related support expectations and processes
  • Partners with other managers for feedback, coaching, understanding of objectives, with an eye toward continuous improvement and preparation for staffing adjustments.
  • Understanding of IT security and compliance remediation activities

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 4+ years of IT management experience, to include managing and developing people (with direct reports)
  • 2+ years experience as a dedicated scrum master for software development teams
  • 1+ years of experience working with teams using Scrum and Kanban techniques
  • 1+ years of experience working within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Experience managing a diverse and remote workforce, helping employees thrive in an inclusive environment
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, specifically JIRA and Confluence
  • Scrum Master Level II Certifiation (ACSM or equivalent)
  • SAFe for Teams or SAFe for Scrum Master certification 4.6 or higher (or commitment to obtain within 120 days of hire)
  • Must live in AZ, CA, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA or WI
  • For flexible or full remote work from home positions, reliable high speed Internet connection and dedicated work space are required
