The Senior Security Engineer, for the Entegral Information Security Office is responsible for the execution of our Information Security Vision for our Identity Service and act as a technical product owner for the Security Office. This role is highly visible and works very closely with the Product Management leadership team to ensure the inclusion of "Secure by design" mindset while supporting our customers and business initiatives. The Senior Security Engineer will work with the Product Management leadership team to understand our overall product strategy and define how this strategy should be executed within the Product(s) they are responsible for. This individual will have a technical background, easily moving from Product strategy and vision to high-level spec and functional conversations. A successful leader in this role works with a variety of partners to understand customer problems and the strategies in flight to solve them, builds and maintains the product backlog, and successfully contributes to agile software development through its lifecycle. This position will also provide a clear solution description and outline of product features for easy comprehension and consumption by the development team, customers, and business partners.

● Incorporate security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
● Have an extensive knowledge of the Okta development and Service platform
● Communicate effectively and collaboratively across business units, creating partnerships that contribute to delivering successfully on development initiatives
● Communicate a Key Results dashboard built around the Security Office Objectives
● Use analytical and critical thinking skills to understand, communicate and solve complex business problems for our customers
● Translate code specifications, development lifecycle requirements, product and feature enhancements in terms of a development effort and schedule.
● Manage product roadmaps to align product development efforts with strategic business and customer needs
● Lead the elaboration of epics, themes, and writing user stories
● Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog
● Use Lean software development practices such as Agile, Kanban, and Scrum to ensure continuous, quality delivery of high-value software solutions for our
● Work with the Product Management Team to evaluate new product requests, create business cases, and define goals in order to execute on the vision

● Evaluate the product progress at the end of every iteration and accept or reject completed stories
● Define and monitor key performance indicators within owned products to evaluate performance and guide data-informed decisions

●Play a key part of development events including roadmap planning, iteration planning, backlog refinement, iteration review/demo, retrospectives, and daily scrums
● Assist with the creation, review, and maintenance of product training and other materials
● Work with external vendors to align on software development efforts
● Stay abreast of new methodologies to best serve Entegral goals

● Must be minimum 18 years of age

● Must be located in AZ, CA, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA or WI

● Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
● 6+ years in deploying Security solutions in a highly distributed Enterprise environment
● 5+ years working experience with an Identity Cloud platform, ie, Okta, RSA, OneLogin
● 3+ years working experience on an Identity Platform migration project
● Experience working in an Agile framework (in a SAAS environment preferred)

● Must be available for occasional travel when travel safety guildelines are in place

● Experience with Okta and been part of a Customer Identity Migration
● Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline
● Experience in the collision, insurance, Bodyshop, EOM, and/or car rental industry
● Experience in a customer - driven business mindset, and exposure to UX/UI driven decisions

●5+ years of professional experience in application design and development at an enterprise level. (post-graduate)
● 5+ years of experience in SQL or NoSQL DB structures, experience with DB migration scripts (SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo)

● 2+ years of experience designing and developing in a microservices environment

Qualified candidates should also possess:
● Experience in an Agile (Scrum or KANBAN) working environment
● Demonstrated ability and examples of keeping current on technology trends
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
● Experience leading initiatives or teams from a technical perspective
● Experience mentoring less experienced engineers

● Understanding of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) agile deployment methodology
