The Role at a Glance

We are excited to bring on a Strategic Planning Consultant within our Strategic Planning Office (SPO) to support financial and capacity modeling and reporting. Our SPO manages the project portfolio for multiple lines of business across LFG and ensures that those projects are delivered on time and on/below budget. A critical component of managing this portfolio is detailed financial and business capacity forecasting and reporting. In this position you will manage and continue to enhance the models that inform planning and decisioning and collaborate across the organization to ensure model inputs and best practices are known and consistently followed

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain and continually evolve staffing and financial models for monthly reporting and annual strategic planning across multiple lines of business
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends across multiple lines of business, assesses the impact, and collaborates with peers and management to incorporate process and modeling updates, drives alignment and consistency across teams
  • Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments including management of project budget/forecast tracking
  • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects
  • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives


What we're looking for

Must-haves:
  • 3 - 5+ years business analysis experience in financial services that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of the position
  • Strategic mindset with financial planning acumen
  • Advanced Excel knowledge with experience developing and maintaining financial and/or staffing models
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with collaborative style and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)

Nice-to-haves:
  • Ability to analyze information, evaluate data, and translates findings into reports and meaningful insights, integrating relevant business knowledge
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines
  • Experience with Planview project portfolio management software

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid/Home:Employees will work from home generally three days each week and come into a Lincoln office on a schedule their manager will help set, following any applicable in-office training period determined by their manager.
