Position Specific Description

This sales-focused role's main responsibility is to increase the company's revenue by successfully prospecting and managing commercial business to business (B2B) sales opportunities from Brokers/Channel Partners. Employees in this role respond to requests for pricing (RFPs) by setting up deals in a CRM (Salesforce), negotiate margin, create and distribute contracts, and close executed contracts when deals are won.

Job Overview

This job is responsible for increasing revenue by successfully handling commercial business to business (B2B) sales opportunities from Brokers/Channel Partners. Employees in this role respond to requests for pricing (RFPs) and negotiate margin, that meets the Broker/Channel Partner's customer's needs. This position retains existing customers through securing retention sales orders through the Broker/Channel Manager.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyzes deal specifics and determines best course of action (enter opportunity, refer deal or defer deal)
  • Negotiates price with Broker/Channel Partner and customer
  • Negotiates margin with Broker/Channel Partner and customer
  • Selects product and terms appropriate for the end customer
  • Facilitates won opportunities through the contracting and enrollment process timely and accurately
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 4+ years
