Senior Applications Developer

Job Description
The Senior Analyst will develop software applications critical to the operations of CVS Health by incorporating peripheral knowledge of other CVS Health applications and related technologies in the analysis and design of complex solutions.
Senior Analyst is expected to be proficient in all critical functions for the application(s) assigned, and is expected to champion SDLC methods and best practices on the team to ensure quality standards are met.
Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines, including but not limited to: analysis & design documentation, program specifications, test plans and results, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of those programs while delivering assignments within specified time frames. Share expertise throughout the organization by educating through formal and informal means.

Required Qualifications
•Minimum 3+ years of experience in a professional services environment exhibiting proven client management, relationship development, analytical and problem solving skills, and end-to-end experience with software development methodologies.
•Use of SDLC methodologies and supporting tool sets and
familiarity and exposure to development environments is
required.
•Should have strong technical expertise in mainframe
technologies like COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and SQL
Query.
•Ability to communicate effectively
•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, and
demonstrated proficiency with problem determination and
resolution through research and fact finding
.•Ability to meet stated customer initiated deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare experience

Education
BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
experience required (2 years of work experience required
for each year of college not attained).
