Overall Description:

Provides expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as: engineering and technology; policy and administration; planning; analysis; training and development; facilities; communications; visual design; human capital; business; and management. Ensures that quality is an integral part of the development, design and manufacture of products or services. Monitors products and services throughout the life cycle; validates/verifies adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities. Works closely with assigned staff, senior specialists or task leads. May direct the activities of specialists or other staff as necessary on activities related to the specified field or discipline.

Duties may include:

As part of the Analysis Office of Counterterrorism, individuals in this position will provide GEOINT production support to counterterrorism analysts, and the project and programs the office is involved with. Specifically, these individuals will:
  • Be able to work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requires multi-tasking.
  • Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience of computer database and developing long-range requirements for database administration and design.
  • Be able to prepare activity and progress reports regarding the database management.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal or no oversight.
  • Possess strong organization, interpersonal, and customer skills.
  • Assist in the migration of Counterterrorism scripts, applications, widgets and toolsets from the developmental stage to an operational baseline.
  • Maintain and develop all systems, servers, and infrastructure pursuant to the derivation of Counterterrorism GEOINT production for the Office of Counterterrorism.
  • Maintain, develop, and improve all processes supporting the production of The Client counterterrorism data and products.
  • Prepare briefings, presentations, and demonstrations. Specific products contractor will support:
  • Monthly Reports.
  • Trip Reports if travel is performed.
  • Issues memoranda, briefings, papers and documents
  • Senior Management Review evaluations and recommendations
  • Input for weekly activity reports and weekly staff meetings.
  • Project/Concept Plans.
  • Meeting minutes

Skills and Experience:

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in International Security or Science field or at least 8 years relevant experience in the counter terrorism or physical security field in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Possess at least 11 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience related to the counter-terrorism field, along with certification and use of applicable tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in testing and debugging software components and units.
  • Demonstrated experience in participating in system and subsystem planning, project builds, release schedules and strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience using Eclipse IDE, UNIX OS, UNIX, Windows developer tools, PUTTY, GIT repositor, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to obtain a Full Scope Poly

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and monitoring products/requirements/services throughout project lifecycle. Demonstrated experience working closely with and reporting status to assigned staff, senior specialists, and task leads.
  • Demonstrated experience in counterterrorism requirements and support.
  • Demonstrated experience using WinMerge, WinSCP, Apache Maven, SSL Handshake and certificate handling.
  • Must have intermediate level proficiency in MS office products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 8+ years of related professional experience. An advanced degree may be preferred at this level.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
