Our location in Columbus, Oh, currently has an opportunity for a Chargeback Analyst.

This position will support the Chargeback and Sales Tracings operations for the Therapeutic Nutrition and Pediatric Nutrition business units. The Chargeback Analyst, accurately and timely processes sales data received from distributors which is used broadly across the organization for sales reporting and monitoring market trends. The candidate must demonstrate broad business acumen and strategic thinking as it relates to contracting, financial and market concepts. Through the Chargeback process, the Analysts support overall market segment business objectives.

The Chargeback Analyst performs research, initiates end user account set up requests, verifies price eligibility and establishes data cross references to ensure the accurate flow of data with our distributor partners. The Analyst analyzes and processes data for paying Chargeback rebates and posting sales tracings. They identify and communicate Chargeback/Tracings variances or discrepancy issues to their distributor accounts and collaborates with Accounts Receivable and Sales Analysis to assist in collection or data resolution efforts.

This role also collaborates with other areas impacted downstream such as the Commercial Operations Contracting Teams, Fraud and Abuse, and the Field Sales Force to ensure price integrity in the marketplace. They add subject matter expertise through participation in collaborative cross functional project initiatives and teams. They lead customer calls with their distributor partners to verify and validate information.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Responsible for responding to distributor requests for new customers, including account research, appropriate class of trade determination and contract eligibility.
  • Research and perform customer account (EIN) cross referencing.
  • Coordinate product, member and price change communication to facilitate data load accuracy.
  • Resolve Chargeback and Trace claim errors and process claims timely, meeting month end deadlines and goals.
  • Identify and communicate Chargeback variance or discrepancy issues to distributors and collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Sales Analysis to assist in collection or data resolution efforts.
  • Provide education to distributors on electronic capabilities and new distributor set up.
  • Perform basic e-Abbott/electronic commerce troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Compliant with all OP and OEC guidelines.
  • Obtain documents and maintain approvals in accordance with Operating Procedures.
  • Support internal monitoring/audit efforts and business process documentation.
  • Participate on and support cross-functional teams within Commercial Operations on process improvement initiatives.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING:
  • Analytical and high attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate complex processes and systems in highly collaborative environment
  • Extensive working knowledge of MS Office including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market, products, and services
  • Knowledge of business rules and their impact in other systems that affect internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to be flexible by adapting actions to facilitate the most productive work environment and business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and complete tasks independently following a defined process
  • Ability to provide superior customer service with timely follow-up
  • Ability to execute defined processes
  • Excellent skill in verbal and written communications
  • Ability to interact in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner
