Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking an experienced professional to join our HR Business Partner team. This position acts as a central point of contact to our employees and supervisors on matters related to talent management, employee relations, employment, compensation and benefits. Will work with other HR professionals to collaborate and resolve business problems that impact the employee experience. In this role you will:
  • ImplementHuman Resources policies as a generalist, partnering with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and resolves HR issues.
  • Be responsible for and/or serves as a HR liaison for most of the following areas: succession planning, talent management, labor relations, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and/or training and development.

Basic Qualifications

6 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree
