Leidos is seeking a Program Manager to provide leadership and elevate team skills and experiences supporting The Digital Moderization Accelerator. The Digital Modernization Accelerator drives Leidos' technology-based differentiation in modernization of enterprise-scale information technology. The Accelerator provides discriminating technologies, reusable solutions for captures and programs, scalable solutions and enterprise resources, and thought leadership in Digital Modernization. The Accelerator develops innovative and differentiated digital modernization solutions for integration and implementation across all of Leidos' customers. The Accelerator develops these solutions through a mixture of Internal Research & Development (IRAD), Contract R&D (CRAD), strategic vendor partnerships, and harvesting of innovative solutions from existing programs and the Leidos CIO office. These differentiated solutions provide value in our customers' environments that require massive scale, heterogeneity, mission criticality, resiliency, and security. The Accelerator hires and grows top talent in digital modernization including solution architects and subject matter experts. The Accelerator provides solution development, technical proposal leadership and mentoring support to strategic captures.

We are seeking a self-starter that likes taking on challenges and applying their passion and domain expertise to the job. This position is located in Reston, VA, with a remote/telework option. The successful candidate will provide program management support for Edge to Cloud program operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative, program control, and technical personnel involved in providing services in fulfillment of the contract.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise for concept designs, development, test, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Provide technical leadership to support technical planning, integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness for total software systems.
  • Manage and control schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort
  • Provide direction for operations and ensure compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures
  • Provide recommendations for resolution of technical problems; and provide management oversight to assigned program personnel, both Leidos and subcontractors, ensuring the highest quality of task completion and deliverables in accordance with the contract.
  • Must at all times be a role model to subordinate employees, be a workforce motivator, and be a provider of constructive criticism.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, and 10+ years of functional experience managing and controlling cost, schedule, and performance of at least one major DoD project or program.
  • Have knowledge and experience with DoD plans, policies, standards, and methods.
  • Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to interface with multifaceted customer set.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% to support operational requirements.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP Certification.
  • Defense Acquisitions University PM certification.
  • Experience as a Contracting Officers Representative.
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience.
  • Ability to drive development of enterprise solutions as well as manage a diverse portfolio of investments related to cloud, security, and end user service delivery.
  • Effective at communicating with senior management including executive leaders and Board members.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others, and build consensus.
  • Ability to identify, mentor, lead, manage, and promote talent.
