  • Bachelor degree Clinical Chemistry
  • >3 years as a technician
  • Read, write and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language

Responsibilities

Overview The Clinical Laboratory is responsible for processing or analyzing blood- and urine samples derived from subjects participating in clinical trials. Responsibilities
  • Introduction of new tests/procedures and equipment.
    • Initiating and keeping contact with suppliers.
    • Assist in determining what test and or equipment will be acquired.
    • Implementation of tests/procedures
    • Taking care equipment is being installed properly by the supplier (Chemistry lab only).
  • Taking care of validation (plan, execution and report)
    • Keeping equipment up and running operationally.
    • Coordinating execution of validations (Chemistry lab only).
    • Taking care of scheduling and documentation/reporting.
    • Act as project lead of (large) projects.
    • Act as system manager of all lab equipment.
  • Coordinating Quality Control.
    • Scheduling and making sure that blinded samples as well as routine check samples are being analyzed.
    • Check and report results.
    • Assist in solving issues in case of deviations.
  • Executing lab activities, including administration.
  • Representative of the Clinical lab in project teams.
  • Taking over daily tasks of manager in his absence.
