Site Name: Guayama JV Posted Date: Oct 22 2021 As a Process Specialist you will be responsible for successfully executing complex projects or areas of large projects and/or programs. Provide leadership in the development of strategic planning an, develop and suc efforts for site master planning and new product conceptual studies. Lead complex projects that are critical to site business plans and product launches. Provide significant contributions on project teams and may lead multi-functional teams, as well as mentors and guides junior staff. You will be accountable for effective implementation and sustaining T0-T2 continuous improvement (CI) processes identification, management and execution of CI projects. Identification of CI opportunities to improve OEE/RTE and schedule adherence to meet improvement targets. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Coach colleagues in the company excellence program and ways of working with PCT members. Shared responsibility in conjunction with the PCT Coach & Process Technologist for the sustained application of the IMEx Ecosystem elements (Visual management, Process Centric Teams, Standard Work, Continuous Improvement, DDDM, Asset Care, Process Robustness, Learning & Development, structured GEMBA…) Root Cause analysis for elimination of repeat performance issues /occurrences. Lead relevant shared investigations with technical, compliance, engineering Process team members. With demonstrated ability to accomplish projects independently, provides process engineering design, implementation/commissioning services and maintenance support of cGMP clinical and/or manufacturing processes and equipment. Engineering services may include equipment specification, process design, equipment/skid layouts and process development/improvement. Leads troubleshooting efforts of equipment and process-related issues and deviation investigations. Analyses process requirements and evaluate equipment and systems to ensure deliverables meet or exceed process specifications and manufacturing requirements. Evaluates and recommends new process technologies that optimize performance, are cost effective, and will improve product quality and manufacturing processes and to improve product/process quality, consistency, productivity, efficiently, and risk levels. Expected to successfully execute projects or areas of large projects. Provides significant contributions on project teams and may lead multi-functional teams. Responsible for role card maintenance/ updates as performance improves and processes change (while ensuring QA compliance is maintained) Responsible for role card data capture and digital storage Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals BS in industrial, electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering and five years plus of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or other compatible industrial, chemical or food industry, directly supporting the design and implementation of process equipment and piping systems. Or MS in industrial, electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering and two years plus of relevant experience. Position requires technical, safety and cGMP training. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Knowledge of technical, safety and cGMP training Green Belt /Black belt certified Two years plus experience in Project Management Why GSK?
