Job Description

The Shareholder Yield team creates diversified stock portfolios which provide investor returns through dividends, share buy backs, and debt reduction. The shareholder yield strategy pursues attractive total returns with an above-average level of income by investing in a diversified portfolio of global companies with strong and growing free cash flow. Companies in the portfolios possess managements that focus on creating value for shareholders through consistent and rational capital allocation policies with an emphasis on cash dividends, share repurchases and debt reduction - the key components of what we call "shareholder yield."

The successful candidate should be flexible, and willing to work within the framework of the shareholder yield strategy.

Job Requirements

• Analyze global companies and generate investment ideas within the shareholder yield's strategy..
• Perform thorough fundamental analysis of a company's business and financial position; including cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement evaluations. Utilize a quantitative screening tool to help target research.
• Develop and communicate investment recommendations based on comprehensive industry and company research through various sources of information, including annual reports, networking with industry contacts as well as interviews with senior management.
• Assist in the continued build out of the strategy, including detailed analysis of stocks across multiple sectors and participating in internal and external presentations.
• Continued focus on stocks that will be able to achieve a shareholder yield.
• Coverage responsibilities will span geographies and industries.


• 10+ years of fundamental equity research experience.
• Bachelor's degree required. MBA and CFA preferred
• A demonstrable track record of success in stock selection.
• A highly evolved skill set in developing a viewpoint on a company utilizing detailed financial models and company research.
• Advanced knowledge of investment and money management, strategy development, consulting principles, stakeholders supported, banking industry, and product/customer markets
• Demonstrated ability to work to work collaboratively, build relationships across teams and functions, adapt to an entrepreneurial group, and to think and act independently.
• Robust verbal and written presentation capabilities with the ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
• Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques

Ideal Talent (Preferred Skills):
• 3-5 years of buy side experience
• Strong understanding of the Dividend Strategy
• Excellent investing performance track record
• Background in the financial services industry
• Consumer Discretionary a plus
