Job Description

The Shareholder Yield strategy pursues attractive total returns with an above-average level of income by investing in a diversified portfolio of global companies with strong and growing free cash flow. Companies in the portfolios possess managements that focus on creating value for shareholders through consistent and rational capital allocation policies with an emphasis on cash dividends, share repurchases and debt reduction - the key components of what we call "shareholder yield." The Shareholder Yield team is looking for an associate to assist in the communication of the investment philosophy, process, and performance of the Shareholder Yield portfolios.

The ideal candidate would join the team as an associate with the opportunity to learn and progress into a more senior role over time.

Job Requirements

• Work with the CSRs and RMs to ensure the full range of client portfolio needs are met, account start-up and integration are completed seamlessly, and account and relationship issues are addressed promptly resulting in a best in class client experience
• Assist in preparation of third-party correspondence including monthly and quarterly client deliverables, questionnaires, audit responses, regulatory reporting, annual mailings etc.
• Prepare RM and key investment professionals for client meetings, including but not limited to a detailed review of presentation materials, coordination of relevant account information, in addition to compiling ad-hoc material as appropriate
• Organize and maintain client data in Salesforce system, audit existing client and account information and documentation, keep content and recipient information accurate and up to date
• Light analytics and data analysis
• Serve as back-up for client service team members to ensure the needs of clients are always met
• Collaborate with various Epoch teams, such as Marketing, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Investment Research
• Desire and ability to work on various projects to streamline client service processes, as appropriate
• Participate in client facing meetings supporting the RM, as appropriate

  • Qualifications

    • Assist in providing clients, prospects, consultants, and/or intermediaries with ongoing updates about the investment philosophy, process, and performance of the Shareholder Yield portfolios
    • Act as an internal representative of the Shareholder Yield portfolios, with knowledge of the strategy and the underlying portfolios, including general positioning, holdings, and performance attribution
    • Assist in the meeting prep for portfolio managers and client portfolio managers
    • Help manage information flow between investment team and client facing team through proactive internal communication

    Ideal Talent (Preferred Skills):
    • 3+ years in investment management

    • Ability to deeply understand and communicate investment strategies
