A Brief Overview
The Manager of Resource Management Services is responsible for managing the centralized resource and work management systems including but not limited to, Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). These systems support construction, maintenance and repair activities across the SHC enterprise.

What you will do
  • Develop and implement the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) (Maximo) to provide cradle-to-grave data collection and reporting on physical assets and work performed on those assets, with full vertical and horizontal integration.
  • Drive the development of policies, procedures, guidelines and standards as needed to support management and use of the EAMS tool in the execution of projects, maintenance and repair to ensure efficiency.
  • Develop on-boarding and on-going training program for EAMS.
  • Develop and utilize key performance indicators to monitor and report departmental performance, ensure accountability, and foster employee engagement
  • Develop and implement plans for continuous improvement of the systems.
  • Ensure completion of related processes to support compliance to government codes and regulations
  • Develop Resource Management staffing plan and lead performance improvement activities within the department.
  • Participate in C-I-CARE efforts and Stanford Operating System (SOS) activities.
  • Ensure competency of staff.
  • Contribute to development and implementation of an ISO-55000 compliant asset management system.
  • Act as the arbiter of technology requirements and as the primary technical resource for other organizations, including information technology, in the determination of requirements and information for EAMS.
  • Structure Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) activities and develop failure code hierarchy and Facility Condition Assessment program in EAMS.
  • Lead the implementation of projects as assigned by the Executive Director of Facilities, Infrastructure and Safety.

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.

Experience Qualifications
  • Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience that includes responsibility for asset maintenance management.
  • Experience with project management and data analysis
  • Prior EAMS (Maximo) experience and associated software experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of enterprise asset planning and programming and business/industry principles and practices related to facilities management, maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of building engineering and construction principles and practices.
  • Proficient in the use of the suite of Microsoft office professional applications and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Systems and related document management software and or applications.
  • Ability to write reports and procedures and develop and maintain organizations schedules.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization and gain their cooperation.
  • Ability to handle potentially sensitive situations by applying consultative skills in working with internal and external constituent groups.
  • Ability to organize, plan, motivate, mentor, direct and evaluate the work of others.
  • Ability to prioritize work by making informed judgments and to develop solutions for complex problems.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross functional teams in multiple departments or organizations.
  • Knowledge of maintenance program and content.
