Sr. Advisor, Quality Assurance

Job Description
CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Buffalo Grove, IL: Sr. Advisor, Quality Assurance to plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) and software application development projects. Duties include: lead the Retail Quality Engineering team and oversee application development and quality assurance teams; establish the quality strategy and ensure the development and release of the highest quality software products; define and maintain automation
strategies, standards, templates, processes, and procedures used by teams within the QA Center of Excellence applying automation; oversee the test automation budget and milestones; define, develop, and maintain automation tooling to support the framework including investment roadmaps for all tools; set team direction, resolve problems, and provide guidance to team members ensuring established automation metrics and goals are met; review and author standards for design, coding, and deployment of Automation deliverables; mentor Junior staff members in the automation life cycle and collaborate with the Project Management Office to ensure proper project reporting and escalation; and mentor Quality Assurance team on test planning, test execution, and reporting for the deployment of better-quality product to production.

Required Qualifications
Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Database management, including: Oracle, Teradata, or SQL; Retail or Healthcare domain experience; Automation feasibility analysis and framework design; Full Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC); Creation of test plans and test cases; and Performing System Integration testing and User Acceptance Testing. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in each of the following: Database management, including: Oracle, Teradata, or SQL; Retail or Healthcare domain experience; Automation feasibility analysis and framework design; Full Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC); Creation of test plans and test cases; and Performing System Integration testing and User Acceptance Testing.
