Process Owner Consultant II

Job Location: United States : Delaware : Wilmington

Summary of Position Responsibilities: This position will support the growth of the MetLife Worldwide Benefits suite of products. The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of new customer capabilities and enhancements to support process improvement efforts.

Principal Accountabilities of Position :
  • Engage with business partners to gather, analyze and document requirements for enhancements to existing applications and implementation of new tools.
  • Partner with IT team on development of new solutions and process improvements including requirement gathering, development and testing.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and effectively communicate feedback to Development Team.
  • Support business check out for deployments, providing testing and sign-off.
  • Builds critical relationships with IT, consultants and vendors, internal end users, and business customers.
  • Act as liaison between business teams and IT teams.

Competencies/Skills/Experience Required:
  • Strong business acumen with previous exposure to change management and analytical problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders.
  • MS Office proficiency including Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • BA/BS Degree is preferred.
  • Insurance industry knowledge, group benefits, and worldwide benefits knowledge.
  • Experience with SharePoint preferred.
