The Virtual Sales Specialist / Sr is accountable for driving product demand and building/executing business plans to meet sales goals for assigned Area for the approved Novartis CRM (Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism) portfolio consistent with Novartis' compliance standards as well as all applicable legal requirements for Health Care Providers (HCPs) within an assigned Area.

• Differentiates Novartis as a leader in CRM.
• Increases virtual engagement of HCP and office staff by encouraging an evolution to a new form of sales.
• Provides flexibility for the PCP ABL to meet the needs of any business gap (i.e., vacancy management) within the area.
• Drives collaborative and complementary sales behaviors with all CRM sales specialties.
• Drives Area sales performance, market share, and efficient resource utilization through a virtual platform.
• Develops effective professional business relationships with customers that support delivery of business results across the CRM portfolio.
• Interacts with key office staff to engage with HCPs through multi-channel communications to change behaviors and drive CRM portfolio performance.
• Supports training for all CRM associates on the skills to efficiently impact HCPs via virtual calls.

This is a remote opportunity and must reside in the Nashville vicinity.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Area Business Leaders and Cardiovascular Sales Specialists to build and execute business plans while ethically and compliantly driving achievement of sales targets for assigned area, customers, or therapeutic area.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all Cardiovascular Sales Specialist counterparts to ensure office coverage and pull-through with key customers in the assigned geography.
• Provide vacancy coverage for local territories to call on customers live and/or virtually and deliver samples either live and/or via mail based on business need.
• Develops and applies understanding of customer organizations and networks and of diverse influences that affect customer decisions (e.g., peer relationships).
• Executes call plans for customers, including medical professionals from customer or academic communities; calls on the right person to deliver the right message with the right frequency.
• Makes effective use of available technologies, marketing assets and channels to support sales calls. Ensure that Novartis Cardiovascular products and supporting services are understood to more patients and customers.
• Deploys and uses approved Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs; runs virtual promotional programs and facilitates pull-through activities.
• Uses detailed knowledge of competitor products' features and benefits during sales calls as background to emphasize the features and benefits of Novartis CRM products.
• Serve as a resource to assist with providing both proactive and reactive education and support regarding NPC CRM access programs as needed for community practices, medical groups and facilities, and their staff. Triage to franchise counterparts as appropriate.
• In collaboration and coordination with the HUB, and as advised by policy and procedure, serve as a resource to assist with providing support for questions from accounts regarding coverage, access, and reimbursement resources for deidentified patients.
