We are supporting a game changing IT Engineering and Support (ITES) program within GBSD to develop and deliver a full range of Cloud, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, IT, and AI/ML capabilities. Our team is looking for TS/SCI cleared and experienced engineers and managers who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be a member of a highly collaborative, multi-contractor support team while also being embedded directly with government customers. We're looking for team players who are willing to Agile methodologies, embrace pair programming for knowledge sharing and possess strong communication skills.

The primary physical working location will be on Hill AFB (Utah) within a classified facility.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and Protect assets in a cloud environment. Specifically responsible for maintaining the operational security posture in a given IT system or program.
  • Assess the security impacts on system modifications and technological advances.
  • Facilitate the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to track artifacts and select security controls. Research, develop, implement, test, and review an organization's information security to protect information and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Work with system owners, create and maintain Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation, including system security plan, privacy plan, security control assessment, privacy control assessment, and any relevant plans of action and milestones to support Authorization to Operate (ATO) decisions.
  • Capture and refine information security requirements for new systems or for enhanced functionality on existing system and ensure that the requirements are effectively integrated into information systems throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance w/ SCI or TS/SCI eligible
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security controls, the Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) security documentation tool, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and security compliance processes.
  • Experience with supporting system Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and creating artifacts, control implementation details, and POAMs.
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills with a desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment and possess a willingness to take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly

Desired Skills
  • Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification and 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience with developing RMF package products and working through IT system accreditations.
  • Experience working with DoD cybersecurity and information assurance (IA) processes.
  • Experience with NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, or Intelligence Community Directive 503 requirements
  • Experience and familiarity with ACAS, HBSS, Tenable Nessus, and XACTA.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes and Docker security controls
  • Experience with providing configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
