Senior Analyst

  • Work with members and internal colleagues on custom research aimed toward publication in medical and health services peer-reviewed journals using internal Vizient data sources and levering external databases.
  • Assist with cost and quality studies, Social Determinants of Health studies, studies seeking insights across various Vizient datasets, such as clinical and supply data, and other analytic processes to enable services to be delivered to members.
  • Participate in professional forums through presentation of research topics.
  • Review manuscripts that use Vizient data for appropriate methodology and Vizient attribution.
  • Collaborate with other Vizient staff on relevant research topics.

  • Relevant degree preferred; advanced degree desired.
  • Proficiency with SAS, SQL or other programming language.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills required.
  • Experience working with health care administrative claims data (ICD-10, MS-DRG, CPT/HCPCS) preferred.
  • E xcellent communication and problem-solving skills, self-starter, critical thinker.

Estimated Hiring Range:
$66,500.00 - $96,500.00
