As a Senior Business Analyst, you will grow and develop as you conduct and manage outcomes of various studies. You will be challenged to analyze, review, and forecast data for operational and business planning. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
  • Responsible for representing the directives of senior leadership and acts as a key liaison on cross-functional projects as required
  • Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
  • Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate
  • Interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of leadership
  • Recommends opportunities and/or action plans for improved performance based on business need and observable trend

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in business/finance analysis
  • 1+ years of facilitating meetings, recording meeting minutes, identifying/managing action items, and developing agendas
  • 1+ years of advanced experience creating and modifying Microsoft PowerPoint presentations at an expert level
  • 1+ years of experience gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting
  • 1+ years of experience with process improvement, gap analysis, workflow, and benchmarking
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and identifying conflicting or inaccurate data
  • Advanced level of MS Excel - Includes pivot tables, v-lookups, h-lookups, formula development, and conditional formatting
  • Intermediate level of MS Visio
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with Healthcare Focus
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • PMP / CAPM Certification
  • 3+ years of Healthcare experience
  • Experience working with Tableau or Reports Manager or SharePoint
  • Experience communicating analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures
