Senior Manager HEOR Pipeline

About This Role

As Sr. Manager youwill be a part of the pipeline team within Global Value & Access, whose goal is to lay the foundation for future patient access to new Biogen therapies. Supporting one of our pipeline programs, you will develop Healthcare Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and evidence generation strategies, execute tactics to generate evidence supporting the value propositions, and support cross-functional planning by providing input on payer needs. You will work closely with other Global Value & Access team members as well as other key functions (such as Commercial, Medical) to support indications within the product portfolio, through HEOR tactics and evidence generation.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development and implementation of global strategic plans for potential indications for the product
  • Design and execute global projects included in the strategic plan, such as burden of illness, real-world outcome studies, retrospective database analyses, comparative-effectiveness analyses, literature reviews, and patient-reported outcome studies
  • Lead research projects to generate, publish, and communicate HEOR evidence to support the payer value story for the product globally
  • Lead development of global economic and disease models, including identification and prioritization of evidence generation needs for these models
  • Assure alignment of HEOR activities with the integrated global brand plan and cross-alliance strategic plans
  • Represent HEOR on cross-functional and cross-alliance internal teams

  • Proficient HEOR technical skills, including modeling (cost-effectiveness and budget impact), PRO analyses, and conducting real-world outcomes studies.
  • Has ability to identify key product advantages in the context of market requirements and provides ideas for developing differentiating value stories for Biogen’s products.

· Communicates clearly in written and verbal forms to effectively convey strategic and technical Value & Access content to key stakeholders.

· Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally.

· Demonstrates understanding of external stakeholder requirements for value demonstration and access in order to plan and execute global HEOR plans.

· Understanding of pharmaceutical product development and/or commercialization.

· Sense of urgency and delivery orientation.

· Effective project management and prioritization skills.

· 5+ years of relevant HEOR and/or academia industry experience

· Masters and/or relevant doctorate (such as PhD, PharmD) in HEOR or related discipline

Biogen’s US Alzheimer’s Franchise is looking to recruit proven and ambitious sales achievers with at least five years of experience in pharma, specialty, hospital, med device/capital equipment, and/or biotech sales.
In this field-based, specialty sales representative position you will be called upon to sell our products with key stakeholders in the Alzheimer’s Disease community: including Neurologists and allied health professionals.
