WHAT YOU'LL DO

Responsible for evaluating and predicting sales trends for Cardiometabolic /Informatics US sales organization in order to help a company optimize its promotional strategies. The job description of a sales analyst involves using sales prediction software, drawing up detailed sales reports, and making informed suggestions for how to improve company profitability. Sales Analyst is responsible for covering a variety of sales support services to in-house and field personnel, including sales and marketing reports as well as custom sales analysis by product, product line, market segment, account affiliation, and geographic area

Our Sales Analyst culls sales data from sales reports, evaluates and analyzes data, creates forecasts for future sales trends, and presents conclusions to sales leadership.
  • Collects data from sales reports for analysis.
  • Develops methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data.
  • Closely studies past sales data to determine trends and shares with sales leadership.
  • Conducts research into competitive companies and the surrounding market.
  • Studies purchase trends of customer base and target demographics.
  • Uses sales prediction software to determine future trends.
  • Creates sales evaluation reports based on collected data.
  • Presents sales reports to company managers, directors.
  • Suggests adjustments and revisions to promotional strategies to improve sales and profitability
  • Manage the daily product tracking report that will communicate demand, revenue recognition, product testing and commercial launch execution.
  • IDN and GPO affiliation tags by parent in PowerBI to align topmost parent and child relationships to manage IDNs and measure performance.
  • Align and maintain IDN parent and child relationships on Salesforce.com.
  • Produce KPI updates for product launch and performance tracking.
  • Monthly S&OP Dashboard production.
  • Global Dashboard production.
  • Assists with identifying and linking SAP ships to customers in Salesforce.com.
  • Assistance with submitting shipment requests, tracking customer shipments, contract commitments and compliance.
  • Demonstrates familiarity with Salesforce.com, PowerBI and/or similar software tools.
  • Work closely with other teams to provide data and analytical support.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required
  • 5+ years' experience in sales analyst, financial analyst or equivalent role
  • BA/BS in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or Finance.

Preferred
  • Prior experience working in Diagnostics, Healthcare capital equipment or similar industry.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Ability to think both analytically and creatively.
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills.
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
