Sr. Advisor, Specialty Strategy

Job Description
Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Buffalo Grove, IL: Sr. Advisor, Specialty Strategy to produce financial and business intelligence by querying data from various sources and generating reports. Duties include: develop tactics and measurements for identifying data trends to support the overall strategy for CVS Specialty to maximize opportunity and execution for key strategic initiatives; analyze and identify key trends in specialty pharmacy data, summarize market opportunities for key specialty therapy stakeholders, and synthesize business intelligence to support recommendations for decision making in margin growth and expansion; optimize the performance of the prescriber sales force through alignment of compensation strategy and overall results; develop key strategies around Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) network optimization and customer pricing; develop and measure strategies to drive incremental profitability within the Specialty Pharmacy business segment; participate in pricing strategy initiatives to identify client pricing risks and solutions to mitigate or offset identified risks; support review of acquisition targets; analyze drug access trends and provide insightful analysis to response to trends; analyze, review, and summarize open market share analyses for the prescriber sales team; and support other strategic initiatives as needed (e.g., infusion, new potential therapies, generic trends). Required Qualifications
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Financial and data analysis focused on driving business growth; Defining and tracking key operational metrics from operations, customer surveys, sales and quality control and summarizing for stakeholders; Data extraction and manipulation of large data sets; and Building financial models.
Position also requires one (1) of experience with each of the following: Reviewing and summarizing data for leadership and stakeholders; Conceptualizing and articulating PBM concepts, such as pricing reimbursements and pharmacy networks; Querying and interpreting large pharmacy data sets to identify growth opportunities; Conducting root cause analysis for timely issue resolution; Data warehousing applications such as Microsoft Teradata or Oracle SQL Developer; Using MS Excel or Tableau to report and visualize data for leadership; and Using modeling techniques such as linear and logistic regression to evaluate the impact of changes in customer behavior.
