Infusion Clinical Trials Nurse - Full Time - Southwest US - $5K Bonus

Job Description
** We are currently offering a $5000 New Hire Bonus for for this full-time position! **

** This position will involve approximately 60% overnight travel throughout Texas and the Southwest. Eligible candidates will live within one hour of Dallas (DFW) International or George Bush Intercontinental airports. **

Registered Nurses (RN) with Coram CVS Specialty Infusion services have a uniquely rewarding setting to use their exceptional nursing skills.

Infusion Clinical Trials Nurse Responsibilities

- Serve as an expert in clinical case management of patients participating in clinical trials to ensure the integrity and quality of clinical trials are conducted in accordance with study protocols and Coram policies and procedures.

- Administer investigation product, performs patient assessment during study visit to determine change in clinical condition, and notifies the principal investigator of findings based on study protocol. Perform assessment, therapy administration, and coordination of care. Ensure compliance with each study's protocol using Good Clinical and Good Documentation Practices while accurately completing visit procedures and collection of information from patients.

- Provide highly specialized education and teaching to patients and caregivers enrolled in clinical trials per the study protocol to ensure understanding of proper medication, investigation product handling, and storage of medical/trial supplies based on guidelines provided by the study protocol and the Clinical Trials team.

- Participate in the development of protocol-specific educational materials for clinical trials based on the study protocol to support training of the nursing team.

- Attend and participate in meetings held by the Clinical Trials team, sponsors, and Clinical Research Organization and seminars held by organizations supportive of clinical trials.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

** Travel **
This position will involve approximately 60% overnight travel. Eligible candidates will live within one hour of a major airport.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience.
- Minimum one year of experience in managing patients enrolled in clinical trials.
- Work experience in infusion therapy, home care, and patient education.
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
- Strong communications and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel up to 60%.

Other certificates or licenses:
- Valid RN license in state of employment
- Eligible for multi-state RN licenses
- Basic Life Support certification
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance

Preferred Qualifications
- Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
- BS Degree in Nursing

RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
