Professional Profile:

 

The Technology Consultant acts as a technology adviser supporting Ricoh ITS customers. The job role strives to align

technology initiatives with a customer’s business objectives and works with stakeholders to drive the maturity of a

customer’s technology landscape.

 

In addition to having a strong understanding of multiple different technologies, the Technology Consultant also has a

strong business acumen and industry knowledge, with the ability to recommend and design solutions that solve the

customer’s technology and business challenges.

 

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Foster a strategic relationship with key stakeholders within a customer’s organization in order to plan and

implement IT projects.

· Assist a customer with selecting the best technologies and services balanced with business

requirements and customer care-abouts

· Deliver a Technology Summary for each managed client to foster roadmap planning and IT budgeting

conversations

· Interface with project delivery and support teams to ensure adoption of proposed solutions is successful

and meets customers’ needs

· Develop IT solutions and present proposals to customers orally and in writing

· Adhere to individual revenue attainment targets as laid out by company’s annual revenue goals

· Maintain required IT Certifications in line with assigned Technology Consulting training initiatives

· Performs other duties as assigned

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

 

· 5-7 years of recent or current technology experience is required; consulting experience highly

preferred.

· Fundamental Level Certifications required (Microsoft MS900, AZ900, CompTIA Security+)

· Experience in project delivery and implementation is preferred.

· Experience with IT Managed Services Provider is a plus

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

Soft Skills

· Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences alike

· Ability to manage pipeline of billable engagements and activities.

· Strong technical knowledge in a number of subject areas (networking, server/workstation

management, cloud technologies, security)

· Strong presentation skills both written and orally

· Experience working as part of a consulting team or strong customer-oriented environment

· Ability to proactively manage commitments and tasks

· Experience building effective trusted relationships with clients and colleagues

 

 

Technical Ability

· Fundamental knowledge of server and desktop operating systems, cloud management, ITIL framework

and management, and Security is required

· Recent experience designing and/or implementing public and/or private cloud solutions

· Experience guiding a customer’s cloud adoption journey from on-premises infrastructure to Cloud Based

services and solutions

· Experience with Microsoft Cloud services (M365, Azure), AWS, Google cloud migration
