Job Description

The Corporate Lending Change Delivery Lead will provide support to the Benchmark Rate Reform Project Stream Leads on a variety of tasks ranging from delivery leadership (driving agendas/discussions involving multiple stakeholder groups, building subject matter expertise within the team), to completing required artefacts/documentation (implementation plans, delivery communications and updates, etc.). Additional job details are summarized below.

• Manage end-to-end delivery across all impacted business and technology groups in support of the transition of our lending business across TDS as part of the Benchmark Rate Reform program.
• Provide guidance/expertise in alleviating roadblocks throughout all stages of delivery.
• Formulate recommendations regarding delivery approach after consultation with key stakeholder groups on estimated effort, resource availability, cross-program dependencies and other implementation constraints.
• Structure detailed implementation plans and hold stakeholders accountable for progress against established scope and timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date view on other change initiatives that may influence/impact our ability to transition the lending business effectively.
• Anticipate delivery risks/issues and mitigate accordingly, ensure timely resolution of impediments, escalate as required.
• Provide effective challenge to existing processes and work effort estimates provided by impacted stakeholder groups.
• May entail opportunities to rotate onto other initiatives within TDS Change Delivery as business priorities and demands arise.

Job Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of credit origination and monitoring processes
• In-depth knowledge of lending servicing and operational processes
• Project/Change Management experience in Lending space is a definite asset
• In-depth knowledge of corporate and commercial credit products
• In-depth knowledge of DebtDomain, Fusion Loan IQ a definite asset
• Established rapport with a wide range of senior stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Experience in organizational change management/delivery and project leadership highly desired
• Ability to build change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives
• Ability to progress on multiple priorities concurrently while navigating unfamiliar territory and ambiguous/evolving circumstances
• Aptitude for amalgamating and interpreting large volumes of information, identifying key clarifications required, and formulating next steps to proceed
• Willingness to learn on-the-fly and evolve the stakeholder engagement model
• Excellent organizational skills (ability to employ systematic approach for identifying and tracking dependencies, ensuring proper resolution of outstanding items, and structuring meetings/discussions)


• 10+ years in a corporate and investment banking environment, with significant exposure to corporate lending (especially syndicated and bilateral deals, loan sales and trading)
• University degree or equivalent
• CFA or FRM designation an asset
• Master's Degree in related discipline an asset
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to synthesize information and formulate concise and impactful methods of communication
• Demonstrated ability to consistently apply expert judgment with available information when proposing solutions/recommendations
