Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Principal Weapon System Configuration Management Specialist to support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Integration Support Contract II (AFNWC ICBM ISC II).
The Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) is the Air Force's next-generation replacement for the Minuteman III (MMIII) intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The GBSD ICBM will provide the U.S. with a broader array of strategic options to address the threats of today and the future. The ISC II team will provide a broad range of professional program management, acquisition, engineering, scientific, research, financial, and administrative support to the Air Force to execute effective and responsive integrated lifecycle acquisition and sustainment for both the MM III and the GBSD ICBMs. Parsons will provide support in Systems Engineering Technical Management, Trade Studies, Infrastructure Support, Test & Evaluation, Threat Assessment, and Modeling & Simulation.

The Principal Weapon System Configuration Management Specialist will oversee engineering change proposals, design reviews, audits, scheduling, and budgeting. They will lead development and implementation of computer-based configuration, data management systems and electronic data systems, and electronic data support.

Duties will include:
* Leading development and design efforts related to configuration/data management documentation
* Presiding over the monitoring of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure standards and requirements are being met
* Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
* Confirming that requirements and the development and implementation of computer-based configuration, data management systems, and electronic data systems has been satisfied in accordance with law/regulation
* Conducting analyses of business and user needs, documentation requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications
* Overseeing development and implementation of new processes
* Evaluating, defining, standardizing, and tracking data elements and object names.
* Overseeing the review, coordination, processing, and integration of System Requirements Analysis (SRA) data into the SRA database and maintains the database.
* Providing SRA data to government and contractor users.
* Managing the review and coordination of the Interface Control (ICD) data and maintains ICD data in the configuration management (CM) database.
* Providing ICD products to government and contractor users.

Education and Experience:
BA or BS degree in STEM-related field + 15 years of experience, OR
MS degree + 12 years of experience OR PHD + 9 years of experience

Clearance requirement: Top Secret
Place of performance: Hill Air Force Base, UT

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
