Director, Orgovyx HCP Marketing


The US Prostate Cancer Business is a growth driver for Pfizer with one anchor product (XTANDI), a new launch product (ORGOVYX) and the potential to launch a third Prostate Cancer product in the US as soon as 2022. ORGOVYX was approved in December 2020, and the co-promote between Pfizer and Myovant Sciences was announced shortly thereafter. ORGOVYX is approved for advanced prostate cancer patients and is the only oral androgen deprivation therapy in the market. This is an exciting time to work on a new to market product and be a contributor to the brand's long-term identify and positioning within the marketplace.

This HCP Marketing Director is a key opportunity for a talented, strategic leader interested in driving Orgovyx Medical Education and Peer to Peer content. This role will lead the strategy and execution of Orgovyx Peer to Peer responsibilities including how to maximize opportunities across live, virtual and 3rd party channels. This role will be responsible for managing the ORGOVYX Speaker Bureau and will lead planning for all National and Regional Congresses, working closely with our prostate sales leadership team. This role will also be responsible for collecting strategic insights from HCPs that will help refine our brand strategy through the remaining launch phase of the brands lifecycle. The role requires strong leadership, oncology acumen, creativity, judgment, and decision-making skills. It also requires the ability to work in a fast paced, team-based, matrixed environment with our co-promote partner.

As part of the growing Prostate Cancer franchise, this role offers the opportunity to be part of a quickly expanding team, including anchor, launch and mid lifecycle brands in a growing portfolio.


  • Serve as US lead for all Peer to Peer content and communications across the Orgovyx brand at Pfizer

  • Lead the Orgovyx branded and unbranded Speaker Bureau

  • Lead strategy and execution of Orgovyx advisory boards

  • Lead Orgovyx National and Regional congresses

  • Continuously measure the impact of marketing initiatives, generating early learning, and driving continuous improvement in order to achieve budget

  • Participate in development and execution of the US annual operational and tactical plan to achieve financial and business goals

  • Identify and track overall performance and KPIs for key HCP tactics to identify areas for improvement and optimization

  • Identify strategic customer insights through collaboration with medical, market analytics, field force and prescribers and translate into actionable strategies

  • Manage projects through both joint RC and Pfizer-only RC to ensure impact and compliance

  • 10+ years of experience with 7+ years commercial/marketing experience
  • US pharma experience
  • High-energy, proactive self-starter who takes initiative, can function autonomously and has the confidence and ingenuity to initiate and create.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with ability to obtain and evaluate data to identify insights and develop effective strategies & tactics based on these insights
  • Ability to navigate internal organization/ processes to achieve endorsement of innovative approaches
  • Demonstrated track record of achievement and of influencing business outcomes across diverse functional boundaries, even without direct reporting relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate a One Pfizer approach and work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment with internal/external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates Straight Talk and Straight Listening
  • Is a role model for the BOLD MOVES culture
  • BA/BS - degree required

  • At least 3 years of HCP marketing preferred
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Strong familiarity with US marketing landscape including HCP's, medical groups/integrated delivery networks, payers
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Copromote experience is a plus
